After
overseeing a business for many years, I decided I needed something
more rewarding. I then returned to school for teaching. When
deciding what to do with your own life and the lives of others you
must decide what will make you happy. Not happy in the moment, but
as time goes on. You need to say to yourself, “Will I be happy with
what I am doing a year from now?” Luckily, I am now able to answer
yes.
Teaching children and watching
them grow is unconditional bliss. I
believe that if you love,
nurture and teach children they are capable of
learning anything. In a year from now our children will be happy
with the decisions we as educators have made for them. We are the
first formal education in a child’s life. Children are eager to
learn and find a niche where they
belong. This is why I believe that not only should education begin
early on, so should awareness for our Jewish heritage. If we teach
our children about Judiasm and involve them at an early age we are
strengthening their bond with their heritage. These children will
grow respecting their heritage and will most likely stay involved in
future years.
Therefore, all children should begin
formal and religious education at a young age. Remember, these
children are our hope for the future.
